Susan was professional and pleasant to work with. She got my house under contract within a week after it was listed. She worked diligently to get it advertised quickly and held an open house immediately.

Sue went above and beyond to sell our house. My wife and I relocated to Florida about a month after putting our house on the market. Sue took over from there, along with her normal duties as a realtor, she collected our mail, used an ion machine to remove the odor in the house, monitored all repairs resulting from the inspections, and ensured the virtual closing went as smooth as possible. I would recommend Sue to anyone interested in selling their house.

Susan made the whole house shopping and purchasing process utterly smooth. Her attention to customer service is incredible. She's super responsive and wants you to find a house you love. It took 2 years for the right house to come onto the market. Susan was always up for seeing all the many houses I looked at before finding the one I bought. When I found the one I wanted, Susan pulled the offer together the same day. She scheduled all the inspections I wanted the next week. She negotiated a credit from the seller for an item that needed repair. Thanks in large part to her attention to all the details, the closing went smoothly without any delays. I highly recommend Susan!

Susan was amazing to work with. She had amazing communication and made it very easy for us as first time home buyers. We had absolutely no idea what we were doing and moving to a new state was ever more stressful. She made the experience enjoyable. Susan is absolutely amazing to work with!! We had to purchase our home without being able to see anything in person. Susan would FaceTime us and walk us through each home. She was very thorough and would go back to any areas we wanted to see again. She is incredibly responsive and helpful, answering any questions that we had and if she wasn't sure of the answer, researching and getting us an answer very quickly When we chose a home, she did her research and helped us find any documents we needed to ensure the house was the right place for us, ie HOA documents to make sure we could have the dogs that we have and not run into any issues. Susan is kind, patient, and incredibly wonderful to work with, we would HIGHLY recommend her.

Susan is absolutely wonderful! She was kind, patient, and extremely helpful. We were purchasing a home from out of state and were unable to view any of the homes in person. Susan would FaceTime us and walk us through the home. She would take her time showing us each room and the exterior of the homes. She would also go back to anything we wanted to see again as well as show us any spots of concern/interest that we should be aware of. Susan also did a lot of work behind the scenes trying to help us find a home - researching different areas to see if there were homes coming up for sale, driving through neighborhoods to get a feel for them, talking to neighbors, etc. She knew what she wanted and she did absolutely everything she could to help us find it, we couldn't thank her more!!

Susan was great to work with! We were moving from out of state and unable to come to the area to view the homes. Susan FaceTimed us for every showing and did thorough walk throughs to make sure we not only saw everything but was also willing to go back to anything we wanted to see again. She answered all questions, dealt with a few breakdowns from both of us as we navigated not only buying this home but also the frustration of selling our other home. She was clear in all her communications and if she wasn’t sure about something, she quickly got the information.

Susan was punctual, attentive, informative, and helpful as we sought to find a home near our first grandchild. We are SO grateful for her patience and expertise and highly recommend her. - Brett and Michelle Van Sciver

Susan Barnes helped our family find a home in 2023. I could not recommend her highly enough. From start to finish she was outstanding! Throughout the process, Susan was courteous, professional, and very considerate towards our unique needs. (The entire Berkshire Hathaway team was also great!) We were first-time home buyers and only knew a little bit about the process, but Susan carefully explained everything and guided us through the first steps while also listening closely to what we were looking for in a home. She was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process and was constantly making arrangements, viewing properties with us, or looking up information–often much sooner than we were expecting. As we looked at various houses Susan really helped point out things to look for. I will also add that Susan is very well-connected with various contacts related to all things real estate, meaning she always seemed to know who to talk to if there was ever anything she didn't already know. Looking at houses can feel overwhelming and confusing but Susan was calm, reassuring, and very knowledgeable. That was very helpful and encouraging for us and it enabled us to sort out how we honestly felt about different houses. It is very fitting that the house we ended up purchasing was one that she pointed out to us. Not to exaggerate but the house is a dream house–the house and yard have so many great things that we love but really didn’t know that we’d be able to find. We’re so thankful we had Susan helping us through the process. She is an expert guide in homebuying and a true advocate for the homebuyers she’s assisting. You’re the best, Susan!

Susan Barnes gave us outstanding service as our real estate agent for our recent quick sale of our primary home. From start to finish the entire process took about a month and the closing went very smoothly. In one day we completed the settlement and our mortgage was paid off and we received the equity wired into our account the same day. Sue expertly navigated us through the Berkshire Hathaway process for the quick sale. She helped connect us with services to sell our excess furnishings and other things we did not need as we are downsizing for retirement and she did a very detailed analysis of the market for us. When I tell others about how quickly we were able to execute the quicksale they can hardly believe such a fast and easy process can exist. Sue and the entire Berkshire Hathaway team did an outstanding job! My wife and I have bought and sold homes three times for a total of six closings on both sides of the process and over our 37 years of marriage and this was the fastest and easiest closing ever for us. We highly recommend Sue as a real estate agent and we can say without a doubt that she is the best that I have ever worked with in my life.

Susan was absolutely wonderful to work with. The thing I liked most about working her was her honesty and integrity. She also was always prepared and should she not have known the answer to something she was diligent about obtaining the information shortly after.. Of course she wanted to make a sale, what real estate agent wouldn't? However if there was something she felt wasn't in our best interest about a prospective property, she pointed it out and always left me feeling as though she truly had our best interest at heart. I will definitely use her again for future transactions

Susan was outstanding! We were out of the area buyers. Susan did a great job of communicating, was very fast in addressing any questions or issues that we had. She worked on our behalf to make our home purchase a very good experience. We felt like Susan always had our best interest in mind. I would not have wanted anyone different in our corner, especially given the difficult situation.
