Before getting into real estate, I worked as a Computer Scientist for the Army as a DoD Civilian for 35 years. In this position, I was responsible for the I.T. infrastructure for a military software organization. Customer service was the skill that I harnessed and strengthened the most throughout this experience, but being part of the military, even as a civilian, helped define my values of honesty, integrity, and selfless service. These are the traits that I readily brought over to my role as a REALTOR® because I wanted my clients to know that they can trust that I am working for their goals and their goals only.

When I retired from the Army, I was a manager and my role involved advising my staff through a variety of situations, developing their talents, and helping them to grow in order to meet their own goals. All of these skills transferred over to real estate and I knew that I had found my next career. My favorite part of being a manager was the ability to connect with people from all different backgrounds. As a REALTOR®, I get to continue meeting new people and develop lasting relationships with them. It’s truly the best part of this career.

Outside of real estate, I enjoy many pastimes like gardening, traveling, and enjoying the arts. There is so much beauty around us in many different forms and I try to find it everywhere I go.
